Solutions

WildfiresUA Identification — early fire detection from surveillance cameras and satellite hotspots (NASA FIRMS, Copernicus). Automatic filtering of false alarms, instant alerts to responders. The starting point of the pipeline.

WildfiresUA Evolution — fire spread forecasting for 6 to 48 hours. Trajectory, speed, intensity, threatened areas. Uses wind modeling, terrain analysis, and fuel maps adapted for Ukraine. No other Ukrainian system does this.

WildfiresUA Pollution — smoke plume forecasting and air quality impact assessment. Predicts where and when hazardous concentrations of PM2.5, PM10 will reach populated areas. Critical for evacuation and public health decisions.

Our Journey

We started by monitoring air quality for the public. The full-scale invasion and the war shifted our focus—Ukraine needed a forest fire forecast, which didn’t exist. We’re building it.
